Pemenang Penghargaan Oscar 2012


Pra Event

Tidak terasa tahun 2011 telah berakhir. Setelah disuguhkan dengan film-film yang tidak hanya memenuhi unsur menghibur, namun juga bercita rasa tinggi secara tampilan maupun cerita. Banyak kritikus menilai persaingan sengit dalam kategori "Best Picture" menjadi acuan penting dalam kategori lainnya pula. The Help, The Artist, maupun The Descendants berada pada posisi teratas dengan Moneyball dan War Horse membuntuti setelahnya. Meski sering berseberangan penilaian dengan Golden Globe, saya pikir untuk kali ini Oscar tidak akan berbeda.

Ajang Penghargaan ini juga akan menampilkan sederet aktor dan aktris ternama seperti Halle Berry, para pemeran film Bridesmaids: Rose Byrne, Ellie Kemper, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Maya Rudolph, and Kristen Wiig, Bradley Cooper, Tom Cruise, Penélope Cruz, Cameron Diaz, Tom Hanks, Angelina Jolie, Milla Jovovich, Jennifer Lopez, hingga Emma Stone sebagai presenternya.

Berikut adalah para nominasi sekaligus prediksi subjektif saya (teks yang berwarna merah) atas penghargaan Oscar 2012 yang akan dilangsungkan pada 26 Februari 2012 di Kodak Theater tepatnya di kota Beverly Hills, Los Angeles-California.

Post Event

Akhirnya, hasil akhir dari pegelaran Academy Awards ke 84 telah diumumkan, Hugo dan The Artist menjadi buah bibir para sineas film dunia setelah sama-sama berhasil mendapatkan 5 piala. Tetapi The Artist mendapatkan nilai lebih karena mendapatkan 2 piala yang bergengsi, Film serta Pemeran utama terbaik. Moneyball sama sekali tidak mendapatkan penghargaan dari 6 kategori yang dinominasikan. Sementara The Help gagal mengkawinkan piala Pemeran utama dan Pemeran Pendukung Terbaik, setelah Merryl Streep menggondol piala lewat perannya di The Iron Lady. The Descendants berhasil meraih Best Adapted Screenplay mengalahkan unggulan utama Moneyball. Well, sepertinya bagi anda yang belum menonton para pemenang penghargaan Oscar 2012 ini harus segera menyaksikannya, untuk membuktikan bahwa film-film tersebut memang pantas memenangi tiap gelar yang disematkannya.
